Day 1 (Saturday August 23rd)

  • Arrival in Bilbao or San Sebastian, Spain - Shuttle to hotel
  • Introductions and warm-up ride of 20-30km around scenic coastal towns near San Sebastian

Day 2 (Sunday August 24th)

  • 60km ride across the border to Biarritz,  France
  • Flat to gently rolling terrain
  • Group dinner and a night on the town

Day 3 (Monday August 25th)

  • Scenic 85km ride north along Bay of Biscay to Dax
  • Flat to gently rolling terrain
  • Group dinner at the hotel celebrating the rich wines and cuisine of Bordeaux

Day 4 (Tuesday August 26th)

  • 70km ride through rolling farmland and river valleys from Dax to Pau, capital of France’s Bearn region and the Pyrenees
  • Adventure into the Parc National des Pyrenees for some spectacular views
  • Gently rolling terrain
  • Afternoon sightseeing in Pau
  • Dinner on your own to explore the local restaurant scene and taste local Pyreneen fare.

Day 5  (Wednesday August 27th)

  • 110km ride through picturesque mountain terrain
  • Challenge yourself to experience firsthand a few of the most famous climbs of the Tour de France!
  • A shorter option will be available
  • Group dinner at the hotel to celebrate!

Day 6 (Thursday August 28th)

  • 105km ride
  • Rolling hill terrain winding through stellar mountain passes and river valleys on our way from Pau to St Jean Pied de Port.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 7 (Friday August 29th)

  • 100km ride toward the coast and San Sebastian
  • Relax on the beach or explore the town for last-minute souvenirs
  • Group farewell dinner at a local restaurant

Day 8 (Saturday August 30th)

  • Departures for airport via shuttle 7 am - 12 pm
