Destination Cycling is currently putting together the details for this trip and the rest of our 2008 calendar. Read the description of this year's event below and check back or call for details of next year's trip.

Join Destination Cycling in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis (MS). If you want to see the world by bike while at the same time make a difference in that world, Destination: Tuscany is the trip for you.

Join us and you will find yourself riding along the narrow roads and cypress-strewn countryside of Tuscany this September. Our trip begins in the beautiful town of Pienza.  Near Pienza and visible from almost everywhere, is Tuscany’s highest point, Mt. Amiata, the landmark which makes sure that you never lose your way. This region is known as the Val d’Orcia, and in 2004 the entire valley was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage Landscapes. Our tour moves on to the medieval town of Siena home of the famous horse race in the town center known as Palio di Siena. All the while, you’ll be enjoying marvelous Tuscan food and wine.  From Siena, we ride to the vineyards of the Chianti region and stay at the beautiful Hotel Radda.  The end draws near and we will complete this incredible journey with the destination of Florence.  A city filled with museums and culture that could keep our interests for years to come…

Destination: Tuscany supports the National MS Society. MS is a devastating disease that affects the central nervous system. Nearly 400,000 Americans have MS with approximately 200 new people diagnosed each week. Come with Destination Cycling to Italy this September and help us put an end to MS.
